As part of a busy team, you will be responsible for driving the business forward through securing new business by making outbound calls and upselling into our existing customer base.

You will put your proven sales expertise and considerable initiative to deliver a solid pipeline of prospects selling waste management services and making positive appointments for the Corporate Innovation Team.

 

The Telesales Executive will:

You will work from a prospect list, raising the profile of our waste management business and sister companies, arranging meetings and closing new business whenever able.

Consistently achieve KPI’s including appointment targets, additional business revenue targets and outbound call targets.

Through your highly developed sales techniques you will identify clients waste management needs and be able to provide appropriate commercial solutions

You will be required to provide supporting information, including statistics, pricing information and market knowledge as required to assist in the sales process

You will gain and expand your knowledge of the waste industry, through your network of industry contacts and trade publications

Ensure that the Hub is kept up to date with sales activities, by accurate data entry and the management of daily activities and diary events

Sell additional services to our existing customer base, track the success of this upselling project, to include current revenue and profit against new revenue and profit.

You will actively source new databases for additional prospects, identifying key opportunities, scheduling appointments for Corporate Innovation Managers and associated acquisitions.

Plan ahead and structure marketing strategies in order to maximise our new business opportunities.

 

The skills you will need are:

Highly effective communication skills – you must listen well, ask good questions, build superb relationships, write clearly and talk with confidence

Efficient organisation – you will need to work quickly and accurately with a strong eye for detail, so that your customers always get a good high-quality service

Efficient time management – to be able to manage your own workload through effective time management

Confident and capable IT skills – You will be using Microsoft Office. You need to have a good level of competence, being able to operate with confidence and without supervision. You must be able to present information quickly and clearly having the ability to use all the basic functions well

Great Customer Care – To be creative, focused and close to your customers driving excellence through customer care

Make Change – The ability to be analytical and to deliver change through your analysis

Negotiation – you must use your integrity and assertiveness to achieve a sustainable working relationship for UKWSL and our partners

 

You will have:

The ability to drive and motivate yourself, you will be results-orientated with a positive outlook and clear focus on high quality customer service and business profit

The ability to forward plan and be able to critically analyse your own performance

The ability to work under pressure and to strict targets and deadlines

Pride in your role and will be well presented, eloquent and professional
