On Thursday 2nd November, we were crowned the winner for ‘Best Resource Management Business of the Year’ Category at the Waste2Zero Foodservice Waste Management & Prevention Award 2023. The Awards scheme that recognises excellence in Waste Management and Prevention in the out of home food and drink sector.

We attended the Waste2Zero Awards held at the famous In & Out Club in London’s St. James’s Square. The awards represent the annual celebration of businesses and individuals making a difference to sustainability in the out of home industry.

Speaking about the awards, our Head of External Affairs, Dave Gudgeon said “We’re ecstatic to be at the Waste2Zero awards this year, not only have we won ‘Best Resource Management Business of the Year’, but we’re also proud to be sponsoring the Best Food Waste Prevention Project Award Category for this fantastic event. We’ve got years of experience delivering innovative, sustainable solutions to clients in the Hospitality sector, and we believe that Waste2Zero do a fantastic job highlighting sustainable best practice and promoting closed loop business practices for the hospitality industry. It’s been an honour to win such a prestigious award on the night and be recognised for the continual work we do with our customers day in day out. We’re continually looking to deliver exciting new projects with our clients and are always striving for sustainable change towards environmental goals. We wouldn’t be able to do what we do without the partnerships that have been built with our customers, supply chain and all of our team across our departments.”

These awards showcased organisations in the food and drink sector from growers, producers, manufacturers, and distributors, waste management operators through to all hospitality and foodservice operators in both public and private sectors.

We were joined by Reconomy Group on the night, who also sponsored this fantastic event. We had an amazing evening celebrating the success of different business’, congratulations to all the winners on the night.
